Please join NGIA for an update about Nebraska's SNAP Healthy Choice Waiver, which is slated to take effect on January 1, 2026. This waiver will eliminate the purchase of soft drinks and energy drinks from SNAP purchases by January 2026. For Nebraska retailers, this means SNAP benefits can no longer be used to purchase specific ineligible items at your location, including soda and energy drinks.
