You’re invited to join NGIA along with the Nebraska Cooperative Development Center (NCDC) in Kearney on Thursday, October 3rd for our second-annual “Grocery Industry Summit.” This free summit is designed to be an opportunity for grocers, wholesalers, vendors, policymakers, and others to learn about, discuss, and address the many challenges facing the industry today.

Last spring, Senator Ibach introduced the “Grocer Reinvestment Option Act” to provide loans and grants to small, Nebraska owned grocery and convenience stores located in lower and moderate-income areas. She also introduced an interim study to examine the availability of healthy and affordable food in Nebraska communities.
